COACH'S QUOTE
"Ending the season on penalty kicks is always a cruel way to lose, but, today, this team battled relentlessly and gave absolutely everything they had," said head coach Dennis Currier following the match. "This was a highly competitive match with two great teams on the field. Congratulations to SLU for advancing.

"Our team made an inspiring late-season run, earning the opportunity to challenge for a third-consecutive A-10 title. This group truly coalesced as the season progressed, playing their best soccer when it mattered most.

"We will now regroup and immediately begin planning our journey back to future titles games. We have a core group of proven players who have competed in these past three championship matches, providing the experience we need for continued success."
