DAYTON – University of Dayton men's basketball coach
Anthony Grant has announced that two prospects -- Julian Washington and Sean Pouedet -- have signed scholarship agreements to become student-athletes at Dayton.
Julian Washington – 6-foot-5, 180-pound guard from Castalia, Ohio
Heading into his senior season at Margaretta High School in Castalia, Ohio, Washington is widely regarded as one of Ohio's premier Class of 2026 prospects. He holds a 247Sports Player Rating of 87, a Composite score of 0.9129, ranks No. 194 nationally, No. 29 among shooting guards, and No. 8 in Ohio.
In his junior year, Washington averaged 21.9 points, 7.7 rebounds, 3.9 assists and 2.7 steals per game and helped Margaretta to a 25-2 overall mark

Sean Pouedet – 6-foot-2, guard from Belgium
In Pouedet's most recent full season playing for Kortrijk Spurs in the BNXT League in Belgium, the guard averaged 8.2 points, 6.5 assists, and 3.3 rebounds per contest. He ranked among the league's leaders in assist-to-turnover ratio (2.8:1) and produced seven games of 7+ assists during the 2024–25 campaign.

Dayton is 5-1 this season after Saturday's 74-55 win over NC Central. The Flyers travel to Orlando for the ESPN Events Invitational, where they will take on Georgetown on Thursday, Nov. 27 at 7:30 p.m. ET.
