SAN DIEGO – Dylan Jaen and Mikkel Zinder represented the University of Dayton men's tennis team and the Atlantic 10 at the ITA Conference Masters, going a combined 4-2.
Zinder suffered a 6-4, 6-0 loss in the opening round of singles play before going 2-0 in the consolation bracket. In the back draw finals, his opponent withdrew due to injury, resulting in co-champions.
In doubles, Jaen and Zinder won 6-4, 6-3 against a pair from Alabama A&M to advance to the round of 16 before falling to an eight-seeded doubles team from Western Michigan.
The rest of the Flyers will continue to compete at the Ball State Indoor Invite before taking time to prepare for the spring season.
