DAYTON -Â The University of Dayton women's basketball program will open up Atlantic 10 play Wednesday, Dec. 3 at George Washington University. Tip-off will be at 6 p.m. ET at the Charles E. Smith Center.
SCOUTING THE FLYERSÂ
Dayton heads to the nation's capital with a 4-3 record overall and coming off a well-earned win over Kansas last outing in Florida. The Flyers are 1-1 in true road games and looking to pick up back-to-back victories for the second time this year.Â

Tamika Williams-Jeter finished her fourth season in charge of her hometown Flyers, coming over after a year at Wittenberg. She has assistant coaching stops at Kansas, Kentucky, Penn State, and Ohio State.Â
The Flyers are averaging 69.3 points per game and giving up 67.3 points to opponents. UD is shooting 45.8 percent overall, 30.8 percent from three point range, and 72.9 from the free throw line. Dayton has a +5.6 rebounding margin, but is -3.6 on turnover margin.Â

Fatima Ibrahim have powered the Flyers on both ends of the floor with the former averaging a team-high 16.6 points per game and the latter chipping in 11.0 points, 8.0 rebounds, and 13 total blocks.Â

GEORGE WASHINGTON
George Washington is off to a strong start this season despite the 3-5 record to show for it. The Revolutionaries have won two of their last three after ending a four-game skid, and have scored 77+ the last three performances.Â
Head coach Ganiyat Adeduntan is in her first season at GW after spending the previous four seasons at Colgate.Â
As a team, the Revs are scoring 68.5 points each outing, just below the 68.9 points they are allowing to opposing squads. GW is averaging 43.7 percent from the floor, 35.1 percent from behind the arc, and 74.1 percent from the charity stripe.Â
A-10 Second Team Preseason honoree Gabby Reynolds looks to build off her All-Rookie Team campaign last year and is leading the team with 13.6 points each game. Kamari Sims is contributing 9.3 points and Tanah Becker is averaging a team-high 5.1 boards per game.Â
LAST TIME OUT
Dayton battled rv Kansas to the very end of the Fort Myers Tip-Off finale Saturday in Florida with the Flyers coming out on top 59-58. It was a slugfest from start to finish, but UD earned the win to go 1-1 at the event.
GW finished off the Cayman Islands Classic with an 81-67 win over Charlotte Saturday. The Revs scored 24 points in the opening quarter and 25 points in the final 10 minutes to clinch the victory. Reynolds had 18 points with three threes in the effort.Â
SERIES HISTORY
Dayton and GW are meeting for the 52nd time in program history with the Revs holding a 34-17 series advantage. UD has won the last two match-ups including a 66-51 win at GW in the lone showdown last year on Feb. 15.Â
