MUNCIE, Ind. – The University of Dayton women's tennis team came up short in a hard-fought road match against Ball State, falling 4-3 on Saturday at the Northwest YMCA.
The Flyers and Cardinals tied in singles play. At No. 1, junior
Natalie Osiecki secured a three-set victory, winning 6-2, 3-6, 1-0. Senior Neena Katauska delivered a strong performance at No. 2, claiming a 6-2, 6-3 win, while junior
Montserrat Sierra battled through a tight contest at No. 3, earning a 6-4, 6-4 victory—Dayton's final singles win of the day.
Ball State ultimately clinched the match by securing the doubles point with wins at No. 1 (6-2) and No. 2 (6-1).

Dayton will finish the weekend, hosting EKU on Sunday, Feb. 16, at the South Regency Tennis Center.
