DAYTON – The University of Dayton women's tennis team will host USI on Friday and Miami (Ohio) on Sunday as they aim for a strong performance on their home court.
The Flyers will take on the Screaming Eagles at home at the South Regency Tennis Center on Friday at noon. Then welcome the RedHawks on Sunday at 12:30 p.m.
UD is coming off a close 4-2 loss at Marquette, which dropped the Flyers to a 5-6 record this season. Despite the defeat, senior Neena Katuskas and freshman
Haley Klein both picked up singles victories.
USI has played four matches this season and is still looking for its first win. The Screaming Eagles started the spring campaign with two road losses to Indiana and NKU. Their lone home match was a loss to UMSL and their most recent match was a loss at Butler.
Miami (Ohio) has played six matches on the year and is searching for its first win. The RedHawks started the season with two road losses at Youngstown State and Cleveland State. Their two home defeats were against Marshall and Cincinnati. The last match for the RedHawks was a neutral site loss to Liberty.
