DAYTON – The University of Dayton men's tennis team continues to keep on winning with an easy 4-0 victory over USI in their first match of the doubleheader on Friday.
The Flyers got rolling early, earning the doubles point. The freshman duo of
Sturle Skigelstrand and
Andreas Nygaard won their game with ease by a score of 6-2. Sophomore
Mikkel Zinder and freshman
Alfons Ridstrom also dominated their game by a score of 6-2 to secure the doubles point for Dayton.
The Flyers handled the singles competition with no trouble, securing three wins in straight sets. At No.1, sophomore
Kyle McNally did not drop a single game, winning 6-0, 6-0, while freshman
Kaia Mendibe claimed a comfortable 6-1, 6-1 victory at No.5. freshman
Brady Hussey continued the trend of domination, also not dropping a single game, winning 6-0, 6-0 to extend the Flyers winning streak.
