RICHMOND, Ky. - The University of Dayton softball team got back in the win column Friday night with a 7-4 victory over Akron in come-from-behind fashion at the EKU Colonel Classic. Sophomore
Norah O'Donnell and freshman
Juliana Gonzalez each knocked out their first career home run in the contest.
With the win, Dayton improves to 6-4 on the season while Akron moves to 9-7 overall.

Izzy Kemp tallied seven pitching strikeouts over 5.1 innings of work
2 - O'Donnell was one of two Flyers with multi-hit games and she also drew the team's only walk of the contest

UP NEXT
Dayton will kick off Saturday morning with a 10 a.m. matchup against UIC and the Flyers will have a rematch with the Zips at 12:30 p.m. All games of the Eastern Kentucky Colonel Classic are being played at Gertrude Hood Field.
