DAYTON – The University of Dayton women's tennis team got back in the win column with an easy 4-0 victory over USI in their first match of the weekend on Friday.
The Flyers got the day started early, earning the doubles point. Freshman
Haley Klein and junior
Grace Murphy dominated their game, winning by a score of 6-1. Junior
Natalie Osiecki and senior
Neena Katauskas secured the point after a 6-2 win.
The Flyers controlled the singles competition, securing three wins in straight sets. At No.2, Katauskas won handily 6-2, 6-2, while junior
Montserrat Sierra claimed a comfortable 6-1, 6-1 victory at No.5. Murphy was able to glide to an easy 6-0, 6-3 win at No.6. to get Dayton the home win.
