Women's Tennis Gears Up For Three-Match Weekend

Flyers Take On Duquesne and Saint Francis On The Road Before Hosting Ashland

DAYTON – The University of Dayton women's tennis team looks to get back to its winning ways with a full weekend of action, taking on Duquesne on Friday, Saint Francis on Saturday, and wrapping the weekend with NCAA Division II Ashland on Sunday.

The weekend begins at Duquesne at the Oxford Athletic Club in Wexford, Pa. on Friday at 7 p.m. The Flyers then travel to Ebensburg, Pa. to take on Saint Francis at the Ebensburg Tennis Center on Saturday at 9 a.m., and finish the weekend at home against Ashland on Sunday at 1 p.m.

UD is coming off a loss at Louisville, where they fell 5-2. That loss dropped the Flyers' record to 3-2 on the season. Laura Greb and Haley Klein both picked up singles victories in the defeat.

Duquesne began its spring season with matches on the road at Virginia, West Virginia, and Buffalo. The Dukes secured their first win of the 2025 campaign in their most recent match against Ashland at home.

Saint Francis is coming off its third win on the season when it defeated Le Moyne 7-0. The Red Flash lost their first two matches to start the spring campaign on the road against Navy and Penn State, but have rebounded to improve to 3-3.

Ashland has yet to see action in the 2025 season. The Eagles' most recent match was an exhibition against Duquesne where they lost 7-0. The match this Sunday will also count as an exhibition for the Eagles.
