SPARTANBURG, S.C. - The University of Dayton softball team opened its 2025 season with two wins at the Wofford Terrier Invite Friday. In game one, Dayton shutout Youngstown State, 6-0, and closed out the day with a 6-3 win over host Wofford.
Dayton is 2-0 on the season while Youngstown State is 0-2 after the first day of play and Wofford entered the late game tonight with a mark of 0-1.
