SPARTANBURG, S.C. - The University of Dayton softball team recorded two wins on the second day of Wofford's Terrier Invite Saturday. Dayton got past Towson, 7-3, and followed that with an 8-1 win over Youngstown State. Sophomore
Deirdre Flaherty tallied six hits and freshman
Camrynn Linneman worked 4.0 scoreless innings over two appearances on the day.
Dayton improves to 4-0 on the season and advances to the championship game Sunday. Towson ended the day with a 1-3 mark while Youngstown State moved to 0-4.
GAME ONE
Dayton 7, Towson 3
W - freshman
Camryn Craig secured her first collegiate win in the circle after putting in 4.0 innings of work in her Flyer debut
11 - as a team, the Flyers tallied 11 hits led by Flaherty collected a career-high three hits
4 - senior
Emma Schutter recorded a career-high four RBI, including a three-RBI double in the second inning

Dayton 8, Youngstown State 1
14 - for the second-consecutive game, Dayton recorded a total of 14 hits
3 - Flaherty and Schutter led the team with three hits apiece

Maddie Kapsimalis equaled her career high with three RBI
