WEXFORD, Pa. - The University of Dayton women's tennis team suffered a setback in its first Atlantic 10 match of the 2025 campaign, falling at Duquesne 5-2 at the Oxford Athletic Club.

The Flyers jumped ahead by taking the doubles point, winning at both No. 1 and No. 2. Junior Natalie Osiecki and freshman Stela Vlaisavljevic won as the top singles duo, 6-2, and seniors Laura Greb and Neena Katauskas were victorious at No. 2, 6-1.

Unfortunately, UD lost momentum in singles play, getting just one win from freshman Haley Klein, who took No. 6 by a 6-2, 6-4 final.

UP NEXT
UD continues its play in Pennsylvania by traveling to Saint Francis for a 9 a.m. match on Saturday, Feb. 8. The Flyers then return home to take on Ashland on Sunday, Feb. 9.
