Women’s Tennis To Face WKU and TSU On The Road This Weekend

Flyers To Take On Hilltoppers and Tigers On The Road

DAYTON – The University of Dayton women's tennis team will be on the road this weekend to take on Western Kentucky and Tennessee State following win over IU Indy.

The Flyers will face the Hilltoppers on the road on Saturday at 1:00 p.m. at the WKU Tennis Complex. Dayton will remain on the road to battle against the Tigers at Hadley Park on Sunday.

UD is coming off a 5-2 victory over IU Indy, highlighted by singles wins from seniors Laura Greb and Neena Katauskas, junior Montserrat Sierra, and freshman Haley Klein.

WKU opened the spring season with back-to-back wins over Eastern Kentucky and SEMO. The Hilltoppers have had losses against Cincinnati, Austin Peay, and Lipscomb but are coming off an impressive 7-0 shutout of Tennessee State, bringing their record to 10-6.

Tennessee State is entering the match with a 1-7 record on the year. The Tigers won their first game over Delta State but since have lost seven in a row. Their most recent loss was a 7-0 defeat to WKU.
