DAYTON - The University of Dayton softball team completed the Atlantic 10 series sweep of Saint Louis Saturday with a 5-1, rain-delayed win at UD Sofotball Stadium. Senior
Emma Schutter was 2-for-4 at the plate with two runs scored and she is the new Dayton career stolen bases record holder with three on the weekend.
Dayton improved to 12-7 overall and 3-0 in A-10 games. Saint Louis moved to 9-16 on the season and 0-3 in league action.

Juliana Gonzalez sent home two runs with her single in the first inning, scoring what proved to be the winning run

UP NEXT
Dayton is scheduled for two mid-week games next week. The team will be at No. 23/RV Kentucky Tuesday for a single game at the Wildcats' John Cropp Stadium at 6 p.m. followed by a match-up against Miami (Ohio) in Oxford Wednesday at 2 p.m. The game at Miami was originally supposed to be played at Dayton on March 5 but was rescheduled due to weather and field conditions at UD Softball Stadium.
