LEXINGTON, Ky. - The University of Dayton softball team dropped a 6-2 decision at No. 23 Kentucky Tuesday in the Flyers' first midweek game of the week. Three Flyers tallied multi-hit games led by senior
Emma Schutter who was a perfect 3-for-3.
Dayton moves to 12-8 on the season while Kentucky improves to 18-10 overall.

Dayton will play the second of its two midweek games tomorrow at Miami (Ohio). First pitch between the Flyers and RedHawks is set for 2 p.m. at Miami Softball Stadium. The game at Miami was originally supposed to be played at Dayton on March 5 but was rescheduled due to weather and field conditions at UD Softball Stadium.
