RICHMOND, Va- The University of Dayton men's tennis team secured a hard-fought 4-2 victory over Richmond on Saturday at the Westhampton Tennis Complex.
Despite losing the doubles point, with matches ending 6-2 and 6-4, the Flyers staged an impressive comeback with four singles wins. Sophomore Mikel Zinder delivered under pressure, clinching the deciding point with a thrilling three-set victory at No. 2. At No. 1, fellow sophomore
Kyle McNally dominated with a commanding 6-2, 6-2 win. Junior
Sai Dore earned a solid 6-4, 6-3 victory at No. 3, while freshman
Brady Hussey matched that score with a convincing performance at No. 5.
The victory marks the Flyers' 14th consecutive win, continuing their impressive streak.
UP NEXT: Dayton will stay in conference and battle with Saint Joseph's on Saturday, March 29
th at 10:00 a.m. at the Outdoor Tennis Courts in Olean, N.Y.
