WASHINGTON - The University of Dayton softball team dropped two games at George Washington in Atlantic 10 action Saturday. The Revolutionaries shut out the Flyers, 2-0, in game one and claimed a 4-1 win in the nightcap.

Dayton is now 15-12 overall and 5-3 in league games while George Washington improves to 21-10 on the season and 7-1 in conference contests.

George Washington 2, Dayton 0
Win - C. Smith (7-5). Loss - Izzy Kemp (7-4). Save - None.

GAME TWO
George Washington 4, Dayton 1
SB - senior Emma Schutter tallied two stolen bases, the fourth time this season she's had multiple stolen bases in a game
SB - senior Chloe Wong also recorded a stolen base, her second of the season
Win - A. Reed (9-3). Loss - Haven Dwyer (6-4). Save - C. Smith (3).

UP NEXT
Dayton and George Washington will close out their three-game series on Sunday. First pitch between the Flyers and Revolutionaries is slated for 12 p.m. at GW Softball Field and admission is free. The game will be available to follow via live stats and video stream HERE.
