George Washington Comes From Behind To Best #UDSB, 5-4

Senior Emma Schutter was 2-for-3 with 1 R, 1 BB and 1 SB

WASHINGTON - George Washington scored two in the bottom of the seventh to complete the come-from-behind win over the University of Dayton softball team Sunday in the nation's capital. With the win, the Revolutionaries complete the Atlantic 10 Conference series sweep of the Flyers on the third weekend of league play this season. Senior Emma Schutter led the Flyers with a 2-for-3 day at the plate with one run scored, one walk and one stolen base.

Dayton is now 15-13 on the season and 5-4 in A-10 games while George Washington moves to 22-10 overall and 8-1 in league contests.

KEY STATS
2 - Schutter turned in her team-leading 12th multi-hit game of the season
H - seven different Flyers recorded a hit in the game
RBI - four Flyers were credited with a RBI in the game, including sophomore Deirdre Flaherty - her 20th of the season
SB - freshman Ella Holman collected her first career stolen base
Win - A. Reed (10-3). Loss - Haven Dwyer (6-5). Save - None.

UP NEXT
Dayton will return home next weekend for a three-game A-10 series against Massachusetts. The Flyers and Minutewomen will play two at UD Softball Stadium on Saturday, April 5 beginning at 12 p.m. and admission is free.
