OLEAN, N.Y. - The University of Dayton softball team swept its Atlantic 10 doubleheader at St. Bonaventure Wednesday, taking game one, 8-0, in six innings and the nightcap, 6-1. Sophomore
Kirnan Bailey led the Flyers with four hits on the day while junior
Izzy Kemp worked the complete-game (8) shutout (3) in the circle for UD.
Dayton improves to 17-13 overall and 7-4 in league games while St. Bonaventure is now 4-28 on the season and 0-14 in A-10 action.
GAME ONE
Dayton 8, St. Bonaventure 0 (6 inn.)
10 - Kemp recorded 10 strikeouts, her third double-digit K game of the season
BB - as a team, the Flyers drew a season-high 13 walks highlighted by a career-high three walks for freshman

Emma Schutter batted her team-best eighth double of the season, equaling her total from all of last season

UP NEXT
This weekend Dayton will continue its five-game conference road swing at Loyola Chicago. The Flyers and Ramblers are set to play three in Chicago at Loyola Softball Park. First pitch is set for 1 p.m. ET Saturday for the first of two games.
