DAYTON – The University of Dayton women's tennis team returned to the win column with a 5-2 home victory over IU Indy.
The Flyers set the tone early, securing the doubles point with a commanding performance. Junior
Natalie Osiecki and senior
Neena Katauskas dominated their match, winning 6-1, while the junior duo of
Montserrat Sierra and
Grace Murphy clinched the point with a decisive 6-2 victory.
Riding that momentum into singles play, Katauskas battled to a three-set victory at No. 1. Senior
Laura Greb and freshman
Haley Klein cruised to straight-set wins at No. 2 and No. 3, respectively. Sierra sealed the Flyers' triumph with a hard-fought 1-6, 6-3, 6-1 win at No. 4.
UP NEXT: Dayton will be on the road for the next match against Western Kentucky on March 15
th, at 2:00 p.m.
