HIGHLAND HEIGHTS, Ky. - The University of Dayton softball team was tripped up late by Northern Kentucky Tuesday, falling to the Norse 3-2 on the strength of a seventh-inning RBI-single in the seventh at Grein Softball Field. Sophomore
Kirnan Bailey led the Flyers offense with two hits and two RBI on the afternoon.
Dayton moves to 22-16 on the season while Northern Kentucky is now an even 21-21.

Dayton is set for a 1 p.m. doubleheader at Akron Wednesday. The pair have already squared off twice this season, splitting two games at EKU's Colonel, and this meeting is a reschedule from April 8 which was washed out due to excessive rain.
