LAKE NONA, Fla. – The University of Dayton women's tennis team saw its season come to an end at the hands of No. 1 seed Fordham in a 4-0 sweep on Friday morning at the USTA National Training Center.
Fordham took control out of the gate with wins at No. 2 and 3 doubles by scores of 6-1 and 6-0, respectively.
The No. 1-seeded Rams continued to roll on the singles side, winning in straight sets at No. 6, while also winning at No. 1 by a 6-4, 6-0 final and No. 3, 6-3, 6-2.
The loss finishes the careers of seniors
