PHILADELPHIA - The University of Dayton softball team claimed the 9-1 Atlantic 10 win at Saint Joseph's Saturday in a rain-delayed matchup at SJU Softball Field. Senior Emma Schutter scored four of the Flyers' nine runs in the win.

Dayton improves to 25-16 overall and 13-5 in A-10 action while Saint Joseph's moves to 26-10 on the season and 13-8 in league play.

KEY STATS
10 - junior Izzy Kemp recorded 10 strikeouts, her second-consecutive and seventh overall double-digit K game of the season
4 - Schutter scored a career-high four runs in the game while also going 2-for-3 at the plate with two walks and a career-high three stolen bases
2 - senior Maddie Kapsimalis was one of four Flyers with multi-hit games and she also scored two runs
2 - freshman Camrynn Linneman knocked in two runs, her first career multi-RBI game
CG - Kemp worked her 11th complete game of the season with 10 Ks to 0 BB and 1 ER
2B - four different Flyers batted a double in the game, including Schutter with her team-high eighth of the season
Win - Kemp (11-4). Loss - Trowbridge (10-9). Save - None.
