DAYTON – The University of Dayton women's soccer team fell 3-0 to the University of Pittsburgh on Sunday night at Baujan Field.
In front of nearly 1,000 fans, the Flyers fell behind in the 28th minute when they failed to clear the box and the Panthers struck from just outside the 18'.
Pittsburgh made it 2-0 at the break thanks to a successful penalty kick in the 33rd minute.
The Panthers stifled any hope of a Flyers comeback with another tally in the second half, countering a UD attack and scoring in the 59th minute.

Dayton returns to the friendly confines of Baujan Field on Sunday, Aug. 31 when it welcomes West Virginia to the Gem City for a 1 p.m. match.
