SALT LAKE CITY – The University of Dayton volleyball finished its time at the Utah Classic with a four-set win against Washington State (23-25, 26-24, 25-17, 25-16).
The Flyers ended the opening weekend of play with a 2-1 record.

The Cougars earned a close first-set victory before the Flyers won three in a row. The second set saw 12 tie scores with eight lead changes. Emily Young tallied three aces in a row at the end of the third set to give Dayton a two-set advantage before wrapping up the match in the fourth.
