DAYTON - The University of Dayton men's soccer team returns to Atlantic 10 Conference action this weekend with a match at VCU Saturday. The Flyers and Rams are set to kick off at 7 p.m. Sept. 20 at VCU's Sports Backers Stadium.

ABOUT DAYTON
Dayton (2-1-4, 1-0-0 A-10) posted its fourth shutout of the season Wednesday with a 0-0 draw against visiting Evansville in non-conference action. The Flyers' offense is led by senior
Ethan Sassine with four goals and 21 shots while three different Flyers have passed out two assists on the season. As a team, the Flyers rank first in the A-10 and 24th in NCAA DI with 6.71 shots on goal/game. Senior goalkeeper
Gavin Krenecki (2-0-4) carries a 0.33 GAA and has collected 18 saves on the year.
SCOUTING VCU
VCU (3-3-1, 0-0-0 A-10) has posted back-to-back wins over Clemson (2-1) and Penn (1-0) heading into Saturday's conference opener against Dayton. The Rams have three players who have scored two goals this season, including Andrey Salmeron who leads the team with 17 shots. Trevor Maloney (2-3-1) is VCU's everyday goalkeeper and he holds a 1.45 GAA with 16 saves between the posts.
