PHILADELPHIA – The University of Dayton women's soccer team kicked off Atlantic 10 action with a road shutout on Saturday afternoon, topping La Salle 2-0 at McCarthy Stadium.
The victory is the first for the Flyers over the Explorers in Philadelphia since 2009.
UD got on the board in the 34TH minute thanks to Raimondi's second goal in as many games, as the senior headed in a beautiful feed from fellow senior
Kyra Karfonta to put the Flyers ahead 1-0.
Freshman
Caroline Schork netted her first collegiate goal in the second half, turning a perfect pass from senior
Karli Ferguson into the Flyers' second goal in the 82nd minute.
