DAYTON – The University of Dayton men's basketball team starts a two-game road trip to the City of Brotherly Love by taking on La Salle on Wednesday, Jan. 21 at John E. Glaser Arena.
The game will tip at 6:30 p.m. and be broadcast on ESPN+.
The Flyers (14-4, 5-0 A-10) had things clicking on all cylinders in the second half against Loyola-Chicago on Friday night, outscoring the Ramblers 47-21 in the second stanza on the way to a 78-51 victory at UD Arena. La Salle (6-13, 2-4 A-10) pulled out a 78-74 victory over St. Bonaventure on Saturday afternoon, getting 20-point performance from both Jerome Brewer Jr. (27) and Jaeden Marshall (23).
Junior
De'Shayne Montgomery led the way for UD against Loyola, scoring 21 points on .500 shooting for his fifth 20+ scoring performance of the season.
Javon Bennett (19) and
Jaiun Simon (14) also finished the game with double-digit scoring. UD gave up just 21 points to the Ramblers in the second half, holding LUC to .286 shooting from the floor overall.
