Saint Joseph's (11-8, 3-3 A-10) saw its three-game A-10 winning streak snapped on Monday night at VCU, falling to the Rams 79-72.
Senior
Keonte Jones tried to will the Flyers back from its largest first-half deficit of the season (25 points), registering his first double-double in a Dayton uniform with 14 points and 10 rebounds. Unfortunately UD was simply unable to knock down shots from long range, going just 3-for-23 (.130) from the three-point line.
Despite that, Dayton still had multiple chances to tie or take the lead in the final minute of the game.
