DAYTON – The University of Dayton women's tennis team is set to face Bowling Green at the Perrysburg Tennis Center on Jan. 30 at 1 p.m.
The Flyers look to win their first dual match of the season.
Last weekend, Dayton matched up against Toledo, falling to the Rockets 5-1. Haley Klein earned the Flyers' only win from the sixth spot, improving her singles record to 2-1 in dual matches.
Due to cancellations last weekend, Friday's match will be Bowling Green's first match of the spring. The Falcons are currently 2-0, though, having played dual matches in the fall against Slippery Rock and Indiana University of Pennsylvania.
Dayton has played Bowling Green four times with a 1-3 record all-time, winning in their first meeting in 2016. In the last meeting between the Flyers and the Falcons in 2024, UD fell 4-3. Natalie Osiecki, Marra Bruce and Elizabeth Hamilton won their singles matches, but Dayton could not come out on top.
The Flyers have a packed weekend on tap Feb. 6-8, hosting Charleston, Oakland and Western Michigan.
