DAYTON – The University of Dayton men's tennis team came out on top against Ball State in its home opener, winning 6-1.
The duos of Mikkel Zinder and Dylan Jaen and Kyle McNally and Sturle Skigelstrand took early doubles wins.
At the No. 5 spot, Rishi Dore shut out his opponent for a 6-0, 6-0 win. McNally's singles victory put the Flyers up 3-0. Zinder's 6-3, 6-3 win took home the win for Dayton, with Skigelstrand and Kaia Mendibe tacking on wins of their own.
Dayton will host Ole Miss at 9:15 p.m. on Sunday, Feb. 1.
