DAYTON - The University of Dayton women's basketball team hosts Saint Louis University Saturday, Feb. 14 at 1 p.m. at UD Arena in Atlantic 10 basketball action.
SCOUTING THE FLYERSÂ
Dayton has battled through an up-and-down season with a 13-12 record overall and 6-8 A-10 mark. There is still plenty to play for in league play and the Flyers are 6-6 at home this year.Â

Tamika Williams-Jeter is in her fourth season in charge of her hometown Flyers, coming over after a year at Wittenberg. She has assistant coaching stops at Kansas, Kentucky, Penn State, and Ohio State.Â
The Flyers are averaging 66.0 points per game and giving up 67.6 points to opponents. Dayton is shooting 43.5 percent overall, 31.1 percent from three point range, and 65.8 percent from the free throw line. UD benefits from a +5.4 rebounding margin as well.Â

Nicole Stephens with 11.0 points and 3.6 assists each outing. Junior
Fatima Ibrahim provides the presence on the inside with 47 blocks in 25 games.Â
SCOUTING THE OPPONENT
SAINT LOUIS
Saint Louis is looking to improve its standing in the A-10 with a 5-9 league record and 11-16 mark overall. The Billikens are 4-7 away from home this season and hoping to end a six-game losing streak.
Head coach Rebecca Tillett is in her fourth season at SLU and already has an A-10 title in her tenure.
As a team, SLU is scoring 65.1 points each outing and allowing 67.3 points to opposing squads. The Billikens are averaging 38.2 percent from the field, 27.6 percent from behind the arc, and 72.4 percent from the charity stripe.
Saint Louis boasts one of the most balanced attacks in the A-10 with four players averaging over 11 points per game. Zya Nugent leads the way with 13.0 points and 6.9 rebounds per game while Alyssa Koerkenmeier is contributing 11.3 points, 9.2 rebounds, and 62 blocks.Â
LAST TIME OUT
Dayton suffered a 72-61 loss at home to George Mason Wednesday for School Day. The Flyers jumped out to an early lead in front of almost 12,600 fans, but were unable to hold on after a rough second quarter.Â
SLU also hosted School Day Wednesday and dropped a 42-39 decision to Fordham. The Billikens did not manage more than 12 points in a quarter including nine in the first and eight in the fourth.Â
SERIES HISTORY
Dayton and Saint Louis are meeting for the 55th time in program history with the Flyers holding a 37-17 series advantage. The Billikens won the showdown earlier this season at SLU, 62-58. Saint Louis has won the past two matchups and six of the last seven.
