GAME BREAKDOWN

- UD took no time to get on the board as sophomore Olivia Leung nailed a three on the opening possession of the game. Loyola answered less than a minute later though to even the score at 3-3.
- After that though the scoring slowed as both teams started to get sloppy with the ball, resulting in multiple turnovers.
- Leung drove and scored her second bucket just after the midway point to tie it up at 5-5.
- Junior Fatima Ibrahim knocked down a couple of free throws out of the break to make it a one-point game and put her on the scoresheet as well.
- A putback at the 2:10 mark by Ibrahim gave UD the 11-10 lead before a putback by Leung made it a 6-0 Flyer run.
- Both teams shot 29 percent in the opening 10 minutes.

- Senior Nayo Lear continued to push the tempo for UD and stepped up on the first play of the second and drilled a three at the top of the key to make it 16-10.

- Loyola fought its way back and tied it up at 27-27 with 2:15 to go in the half thanks to a 10-0 run.

- Leung picked up where she left off with an and-one to put UD back on top 32-30 in the opening 30 seconds.
