DAYTON – The University of Dayton men's basketball team hits the road for the first of two games away from the Gem City, traveling to the nation's capital to take on George Washington University in a #FridA10 showdown at the Charles E. Smith Center.
The game tips at 7 p.m. and will be broadcast on ESPN2 with Mike Corey and Dr. John Giannini on the call.
The Flyers (19-9, 10-5 A-10) won their fourth consecutive game on Tuesday with a dominant 77-62 win over No. 23-ranked Saint Louis. George Washington (16-12, 7-8 A-10) handled its business on the road, dismantling La Salle 104-77 in Philadelphia.
Sophomore
Amaël L'Etang led the Flyers in their win over the Billikens with a career-high 26 points, while also registering his second straight double-double by bringing down 10 rebounds. After missing his first three free throw attempts in the game, L'Etang went a perfect 12-for-12 to set a new career-high. It was the third time this season a Flyer has made 12 free throws in a single game (
Jordan Derkack vs. St. Bonaventure, 12-of-15;
Javon Bennett 12-of-12 vs. Florida State).
