LEXINGTON, Ky. - The University of Dayton softball team dropped two games on the second day of Kentucky's John Cropp Classic. In today's first game, Dayton fell to Murray State, 5-0, before closing the day with a 9-0 six-inning loss to host Kentucky.
Dayton moves to 7-4 overall after Saturday's games while Murray State is now 8-9Â on the season and Kentucky is 16-4.

Kate Kastelic collected a season-high three strikeouts over 4.0 innings of relief in the circle

Katelin Goodwin recorded a double in the sixth, one of three Flyers to tally a hit in the game

Ella Holman tallied a season-high four putouts in left field
2B - Goodwin batted her second double of the day in the fifth inning, breaking up the Wildcats' no-hit bid
