LOUISVILLE, Ky. – The University of Dayton men's tennis team suffered a close loss to Louisville on Wednesday afternoon, falling 4-3.
After locking up the doubles point with wins against the No. 86 and 65 pairs, Kaia Mendibe and Kyle McNally won their singles matches, earning big wins for the Flyers.
Tied at 3-3, the No. 2 singles broke the tie in Louisville's favor.
This is Dayton's best performance against the Cardinals in program history.
UD will host IU Indy on Feb. 6 and Eastern Kentucky on Feb. 8 at the South Regency Tennis Center.
