DAYTON - The University of Dayton women's basketball team returns to Philadelphia this Saturday, Feb. 7 to take on Saint Joseph's University at 2 p.m. at Hagan Arena.Â
SCOUTING THE FLYERSÂ
Dayton looks to make it 2-0 in the city of brotherly love this week after defeating La Salle midweek. The Flyers are 12-11 on the year and 5-7 in Atlantic 10 play. UD is 5-5 on the road this season.Â

Tamika Williams-Jeter is in her fourth season in charge of her hometown Flyers, coming over after a year at Wittenberg. She has assistant coaching stops at Kansas, Kentucky, Penn State, and Ohio State.Â
The Flyers are averaging 65.9 points per game while giving up 67.2 points to opponents. Dayton is shooting 42.9 percent overall, 30.2 percent from three point range, and 65.4 percent from the free throw line. UD benefits from a +5.3 rebounding margin as well.

SCOUTING THE OPPONENT
SAINT JOSEPH'S
Saint Joseph's is having a successful season to date with a 15-7 mark on the year, but is just 6-5 in A-10 play. The Hawks have been a tough opponent at home though, going 9-3 on the season.
Head coach Cindy Griffin is quickly approaching her 500th career win with 470 entering the season in 27 years.Â
As a team, Saint Joe's is scoring 67.5 points each outing and stifling opponents to just 57.3 points per game for a +10.2 margin. The Hawks lead the A-10 in assists per game and assist to turnover ratio while averaging 43.1 percent from the floor, 32.8 percent from three, and 70.6 percent from the charity stripe.Â
The trio of Gabby Casey, Aleah Snead, and Rhian Stokes spearhead the Saint Joe's attack with 16.1 points, 11.3 points, and 10.0 points per game respectively. Casey also leads the team in rebounding and steals.
LAST TIME OUT
Dayton went on the road to La Salle and earned a 68-60 victory over the Explorers thanks to four players in double digits and holding La Salle to just two threes.Â
Saint Joseph's went to rv Rhode Island Wednesday and were unable to pull off the upset in a 69-61 loss to the Rams. Saint Joes jumped out to an early lead, but a 26-point fourth quarter gave URI the win.Â
SERIES HISTORY
Dayton and Saint Joseph's are meeting for the 38th time in program history with the Flyers holding a series lead, 22-15. UD won last year's meeting 74-65 at home, but the Hawks had won the two prior.Â
