DAYTON – The University of Dayton women's tennis team defeated Charleston 6-1 on Friday afternoon.

Dayton's one and two doubles started the day off with a point, winning 6-4 and 6-1.

Monserrat Sierra, Kristen Chin, Haley Klein, Mallory Hitchcock and Grace Murphy all won their singles matches, ensuring the UD victory.

The Flyers continue the weekend with a match against Oakland on Saturday at 4 p.m.
