CLINTON, S.C. - The University of Dayton softball team closed out the weekend with a 9-3 win over Morehead State Sunday afternoon, the Flyers final game of Presbyterian's Blue Hose Invitational. Three different Flyers recorded multi-hit games in the win over the Eagles.
Dayton closes out the first weekend of the 2026 season with a 3-1 record. Morehead State moved to 0-3.

UP NEXT
Dayton will continue its pre-conference tour of the southeast next weekend as it travels to Elon, N.C., to take part in Elon's Phoenix Invitational Feb. 13-15. UD will play a total of five games against Manhattan, Mount St. Mary's and host Elon at Hunt Softball Park.
