UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. – The University of Dayton men's tennis team came up short to Penn State on Wednesday evening, falling 4-3.
The doubles point was decided by tiebreakers at both No. 1 and 2. No. 77 Kyle McNally and Sturle Skigelstrand won 7-6 (7-2), with Mikkel Zinder and Dylan Jaen winning 7-6 (7-5).
McNally and Zinder both had comeback wins in the singles action, taking their matches in the third set.
Penn State swept the remaining singles matches, picking up the win.
The Flyers will play Furman on March 14 at 1 p.m.
