GREENVILLE, S.C. – The University of Dayton men's tennis team defeated Furman with a 4-3 win.
Furman started the day with the doubles point.
In singles, Kyle McNally, Mikkel Zinder and Dylan Jaen won singles matches in two sets. The Paladins won two singles matches, tying the match at 3-3.
Alfons Ridstrom won his singles match with a big 7-5 win in the third set after trailing 5-2 in the set, taking the match for Dayton.
Dayton will take on The Citadel on Tuesday, March 17 for a doubleheader.
