BRONX, N.Y. - With its 3-1 victory over Fordham Sunday, the University of Dayton softball team claimed its first Atlantic 10 series win of the season after winning two of three games this weekend.Â
Dayton closed out the weekend with a 10-9 overall record and 2-4 mark in A-10 play while Fordham moved to 8-13 on the season and 2-4 in league games.

Kirnan Bailey tallied two hits, the only multi-hit game of the contest, and stole two bases on the afternoon

UP NEXT
Dayton has a single midweek game scheduled for Wednesday, March 18 in Athens against intrastate foe Ohio. The Flyers and Bobcats will get underway at 5 p.m. at OU's Ohio Softball Field.
