DAYTON - The University of Dayton softball team split its Saturday Atlantic 10 doubleheader with visiting George Washington, falling to the Revolutionaries, 9-2, in game one before claiming the 6-3 win in game two. On the day, senior
Molly Grace was 4-for-7 at the plate, including a home run and a double, while scoring two runs and collecting three RBI.
After today's games, Dayton is now 11-10 on the season and 3-5 in A-10 action while George Washington moves to 14-11 overall and 5-3 in league games.
GAME ONE
George Washington 9, Dayton 2
2 - two Flyers recorded two hits in the game, including sophomore
Camrynn Linneman who recorded her fourth multi-hit game of the season
3B - junior
Kirnan Bailey posted her first triple of the year

GAME TWO
Dayton 6, George Washington 3
11 - Kemp tallied 11 strikeouts over the complete-game win in the circle, her seventh double-digit K game of the season
2 - Grace posted twos across the board with two hits, two runs scored and two RBI
HR - sophomore Mickey Shively knocked out her first career home run in the fifth inning
HR - Grace also knocked out a long ball, a two-run dinger in the sixth, her first of the season and fourth of her career
Win - Kemp (6-3). Loss - SophiaTorreso (4-3). Save - None.
UP NEXT
The Flyers and Revolutionaries will close out their three-game series tomorrow with a single game at UD Softball Stadium. First pitch is scheduled for 12:05 p.m. and admission is free. Dayton will host a single game against Northern Kentucky on Tuesday, March 24 ahead of a nine-game road swing.Â
