DAYTON – The University of Dayton men's basketball team travels to the Land of Lincoln to take on Bradley in the opening round of the National Invitational Tournament at Carver Arena on Wednesday, March 18.
The Flyers and Braves tip off at 9 p.m. ET on ESPNU with Mike Corey and Kevin Lehman on the call.
UD comes into the NIT after a run to the Atlantic 10 Championship final, upsetting No. 1 seed Saint Louis in the tournament semifinal before falling to No. 2 seed VCU in the championship, 70-62.
Dayton (23-11) trailed by as many as 16 in the second half and was able to cut the deficit to single digits, but the deficit proved too much to overcome. Despite holding the Rams without a field goal over the final 8:17, UD never got closer than seven points.
