DAYTON - The University of Dayton softball team claimed a 9-4 win over visiting Northern Kentucky Tuesday in first of two non-conference midweek games for the Flyers this week. For the fifth time this season the Flyers tallied double-digit hits with four players recording multi-hit games.
Dayton improves to 13-10 on the season and Northern Kentucky is now 13-14. UD has now won three straight and four of its last five games.

Camrynn Linneman knocked in three runs on two hits, her fourth multi-RBI game of the season

Kirnan Bailey was one of four players to record two hits, her team-leading seventh multi-hit game of the year
HR - sophomore
Katelin Goodwin (5) and Linneman (4) each sent a ball over the fence
SB - Bailey stole three bases for the second-consecutive game, equaling her career high

Izzy Kemp (7-3). Loss - Abigail Byrd (4-3). Save - None.
UP NEXT
Wednesday's game against Cal at Ohio State will kick off a nine-game road swing for Dayton. The Flyers will head to Fairfax, Va., this coming weekend to take on the Patriots of George Mason Mach 28-29 for a three-game Atlantic 10 series.
