#UDSB Takes Third-Straight A-10 Series With 7-1 Win At George Mason

Linneman, Kemp Strike Out 14 Patriot Batters

FAIRFAX, Va. - The University of Dayton softball team claimed its third-straight Atlantic 10 series win Sunday with a 7-1 victory at George Mason. Camrynn Linneman and Izzy Kemp combined to strike out 14 Patriot batters.

Dayton improves to 15-12 on the season and 6-6 in league games while George Mason is now 15-17 overall and 4-8 in A-10 action.

KEY STATS
10 - Kemp struck out 10 batters, her second-consecutive and ninth double-digit strikeout game of the season
2 - sophomore Ella Holman collected two RBI on the day, her first multi-RBI game of the year
2 - junior Kirnan Bailey was one of four Flyers who tallied two hits, her team-best ninth multi-hit games of the season
2 - Bailey also stole two bases, bringing her season total to 25
Win: Kemp (8-3). Loss: Haleigh Dellow (0-1). Save: None.

UP NEXT
Dayton continues its nine-game road stretch with two midweek games next week. On Wednesday, Dayton will be at Ohio State for a single game at 2 p.m. followed by another single game matchup at Providence on Thursday at 2 p.m. The Flyers will then play a three-game conference set at against the Rams of Rhode Island April 3-4 in Kingston.
