PROVIDENCE - The University of Dayton softball team dropped an 8-4 decision at Providence Thursday afternoon, the first of four road games this week for the Flyers.
Dayton moves to 15-13 overall and Providence is also now 15-13 on the season.

Juliana Gonzalez equaled her career high with two RBI in the game, her third multi-RBI game of the year
2B - junior
Deirdre Flaherty tallied her team-high-tying fifth double of the year, bringing in the first run of the game
SB - two Flyers recorded a stolen base, including junior
Kirnan Bailey who now has 26 on the season

Dayton play a three-game conference set at against the Rams of Rhode Island April 3-4 in Kingston. Friday's doubleheader will get underway at 12 p.m. at URI Softball Complex and admission is free.
