DAYTON – The University of Dayton women's tennis team opens its time at the 2026 Atlantic 10 Championship with a match against the No. 9-seeded Duquesne Dukes on Wednesday, April 22 at 4:30 p.m.
The tournament is being held at the United States Tennis Association National Campus in Lake Nona, Fla.
The Flyers enter the tournament as the eighth seed with a 5-14 overall record. Against A-10 opponents, Dayton finished the season 2-2. Freshman Mallory Hitchcock leads the team with 15 wins this year, posting a 10-8 record in dual competition. She and fellow freshman Baby Jordan have gone 14-9 in doubles, picking up nine wins in duals.
Duquesne went 7-10 overall with a 1-3 record against Atlantic 10 teams. Dayton hosted the Dukes back on Feb. 13, winning 4-3.
Wednesday's winner will take on No. 1-seeded Fordham on Thursday, April 23 at 4:30 p.m.
