LAKE NONA, Fla. – The University of Dayton men's tennis team battled Richmond in the title match of the Atlantic 10 Championship, coming up short 4-3.
Dayton won the doubles point with a 6-3 win by Kyle McNally and Eric Suk on the first court and a 7-6 (7-1) win on the second court by Mikkel Zinder and Dylan Jaen.
McNally and Zinder helped keep things tied with the Spiders, winning 6-3, 6-3 and 6-4, 6-2. Richmond won the singles matches on courts three, four and five, leaving the match to be settled on the sixth court.
Rishi Dore won the first set 6-2 and pushed the second and third sets both to seven, ultimately falling 7-5.
The Flyers finished the 2025-26 season with an 18-7 overall record.
